Inspecting Weds for Cracks
Alternating Current Field Measurement also referred to as ACFM is a one-pass method to inspect welds and most other materials to locate and size surface breaking cracks.
This technique replaces conventional dye penetrants and magnetic particle testing and the ultrasonics required to size defects.

Expandable Eddy Current Spinner System
A tool designed to check for cracks and pitting in special pipeline sections and applications.
The model on display can enter through a 3” opening and do a complete internal inspection of a 6” ID reformer header.
Possible applications are crack detection in high pressure pipe sections like reformer headers, drill pipe and short sections of non magnetic pipe.

Intank® Robotic Inspection Service
The InTANK service follows a digital inspection grid and collects more than 200,000 UT scans* for computer analysis.
The InTANK service systematically scans the tank bottom with an array of eight ultrasonic transducers, and relays high-volume UT data for analysis.
The robot pushed sludge aside as it travels, making cleaning and waste disposal unnecessary in many cases. |

Tank Floor Inspection
MFE Mach II Tank Floor Scanner
Above Ground Storage Tank Inspection is performed using American Petroleum Institute (API) certified 653 inspectors.
In-Service External Tank Inspection the API 653 Recommended Practice suggests the tank shell, roof, foundation and nozzles be inspected visually and with ultrasonic thickness measurements every five (5) years.
Out-of-Service Internal Tank Inspection in accordance with the API 653 Recommended Practice require internal inspection of the tank floor, walls, piping, nozzles, sumps every ten (10) years. |

Weldstar
Girth Weld Inspection system
AGas or Liquid pipelines are made of high-strength steel and operate at a significant percentage of yield strength.
Pipelines construction involves using an automated welding system to prepare and make up the girth welds.
Once the girth weld is completed it must be tested for quality assurance. Once inspection is completed they are coated and then quickly buried. Due to the demanding construction cycle it is important that any defect in the welds be detected, analyzed and reported quickly so that repairs can be completed before burying pipe section. |

MFL Pipeline Inspection
Bidirectional Inspection.
The Pipesurvey International MFL tool distinguishes itself from other tools in the market in that it is a versatile tool. The tool can be equipped with cups for long distance operation in transmission lines; it can also be equipped with special design discs for bidirectional operation, which opens new frontiers in MFL inspection. Sub-sea pipelines ending in well heads or sub sea manifolds, jetty lines, tank-farm lines, flow lines, unpiggable lines can be inspected using the same tool. |

Advanced Pipeline Geometry Pig
The Advanced Pipeline Geometry Pig is a multi channel high resolution mechanical caliper pig that incorporates numerous extra devices which register the dynamic behavior of the pig.
The complete set of data offers valuable information about the pipeline geometry, such as deformations, curvatures, misalignments, bend radii. The Advanced Pipeline Geometry Pig offers insight to the operator about the structural integrity of the pipeline and surpasses the capabilities of many so called aliper pigs that are available in the market. |
